A little humor for Monday morning.
Although it is said in a lighter mode, it is very much the truth. A bug-free software hasn’t EVER been born. It all depends on when they are caught. If you, as a tester, received a piece of software that appears to have no bug, there can be two possibilities:
1. The developers tested it thoroughly before deploying – less likely.
2. You haven’t looked hard enough – more likely.
You just need to look at the software from a new angle and try out different testing strategies before declaring it good enough for release. Again ‘good enough’ because you can never claim that it is bug-free.
